Locum CRNA Opportunity Northeast Missouri Independent Practice Proficiency in Blocks Required
Were actively seeking an experienced independent CRNA for a locum tenens contract in Northeast Missouri starting in 2026. This is a high-autonomy assignment in an inpatient setting, ideal for providers comfortable with paper charting and a full range of anesthetic techniques. Must be fully licensed in Missouri with an active CSR and able to work without anesthesiologist supervision.
Assignment Overview:
Start Date: January 1, 2026 or as soon as credentialed
Duration: Ongoing
Practice Setting: Inpatient hospital
EMR: Paper charting
Schedule: Day shifts with potential for back-up call
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
Location: Greater Kirksville, MO area
License Requirement: Missouri license only
CSR: Active CSR required at time of submission
Skill & Case Requirements:
Must work independently and perform regional blocks
Case mix: General, neuro (head/spine), trauma, thoracic, ortho, vascular, peds, and pain
Required skills:
Spinal, epidural, ventilation management
Central/arterial line & PA catheter placement
Post-op pain blocks and transforaminal injections
No open heart or OB cases
Candidate Profile:
NBCRNA Certified
Missouri CRNA license + Active CSR
BLS, ACLS, PALS certified
2+ years of independent CRNA experience highly preferred
Clean background and ability to credential within 90 days
Compensation & Logistics:
Competitive rates based on experience and shift volume ($240-$250+/hour range)
Travel & lodging negotiable
