Location: Brooklyn, NY

Annual Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000

Golfzon Social is open in Brooklyn, NY! We are excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Front of House Manager. Our company is currently looking for a highly skilled, experienced and motivated FOH Manager. We are innovative, customer‑centric, fun and our goal is to create the most social experience in golf. We are a giant sports bar with a golf problem.

General Purpose

The FOH Manager assists in oversight of all aspects of the Golfzon hospitality experience: a bar and restaurant anchored by high‑tech indoor golf simulators. The successful candidate will be adept at satisfying the demands of our clientele and maintaining a positive working atmosphere. The ideal candidate for this position should have a proven track record of respectful and adept communication skills, the capability to effectively lead teams and the experience to respond to any unexpected situations that may arise.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Produce daily reports related to games and sales, food and beverage labor costs, inventory etc. for management.
  • Assist in reconciliation of daily cash, accounts receivable and accounts payable charges.
  • Assist in overseeing the care and maintenance of the property’s physical assets and facilities.
  • Assist in hiring, training, supervising and evaluating dining room staff.
  • Receive and resolve complaints concerning food, beverages, and service.
  • Serve as liaison between the dining room and kitchen staff.
  • Ensure that all side work is accomplished and that all cleaning of equipment and storage areas is completed according to schedule.
  • Relate information and policy changes and brief personnel.
  • Review and approve service staff hours/payroll information.
  • Assure the correct appearance, cleanliness and safety of dining room areas, equipment and fixtures.
  • Check the maintenance of all equipment in the dining room and report deficiencies and maintenance concerns.
  • Make suggestions about improvements in dining room service procedures and layout to Director of Food & Beverage.
  • Produce daily/meal period revenue analyses and other reports from the Point‑of‑Sale system(s) used in the dining room.
  • Complete Daily of End of Day e‑mail reports.
  • Maintain an inventory of dining room items including silverware, coffee pots, water pitchers, salt and pepper holders, sugar bowls and linen and ensure that they are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Monitor dining room labor and supplies budget; make adjustments as necessary to achieve financial goals, as well as make scheduling edits to ensure proper service.
  • Assist in service and tableside cookery as needed.
  • Oversee all FOH.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high‑paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Must have supervisory, coaching and staff development experience.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Access, Word, POS systems.
  • Must have a strong business aptitude and passion for the customer service industry. Must be highly motivated, goal driven and self‑starter.

Education and Experience

  • Four‑year college degree preferred.
  • At least 1–3 years related experience required.
  • ServSafe certification.
  • RBS Training certification.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of standing, occasional bending, stooping, pushing/pulling.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times, occasional sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
