About the Senior Operational Accountant Role

Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Operational Accountant focused on Fixed Assets & ROI to join their dynamic accounting department. This position is highly internal-facing, with a focus on managing fixed assets, conducting ROI analysis, and supporting financial decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Key Senior Operational Accountant Responsibilities

This role will oversee capital asset management, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation schedules. As a Senior Operational Accountant, you will conduct ROI studies for capital projects and operational initiatives, providing actionable insights to leadership. The Senior Operational Accountant collaborates closely with the accounting team to align asset reporting with overall financial statements. In this role, - Fixed Assets & ROI supports month-end and year-end close processes with detailed asset and ROI reporting. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal audit requirements, preparing reports on asset performance and ROI trends. Acting as a Senior Operational Accountant, you will assist in developing internal controls and process improvements for asset management. Finally, you will play a key role in supporting external audit requests related to fixed assets and ROI analysis.

Senior Operational Accountant Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA designation preferred but not required. 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or capital-intensive industries. Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting, ROI analysis, and GAAP compliance. Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills. Detail-oriented, analytical mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
