who enjoys process improvement Exposure to multi-entity operations and complex accounting matters Leadership role with the ability to mentor and develop an accounting team Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant Oversee and manage the monthly general ledger close for all reporting entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness Evaluate general ledger activity and ensure proper U.S. GAAP treatment for complex and significant transactions Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations, providing guidance and resolution support for escalated issues Continuously improve close processes to shorten timelines while strengthening internal controls Collaborate with Payroll, Billing, Sales, and Operations to ensure accurate revenue recognition and margin reporting Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of front-office and back-office system enhancements and upgrades Lead preparation and review of monthly P&Ls, division-level reporting, and quarterly financial statements Ensure financial statements and disclosures comply with U.S. GAAP and internal policies Research new accounting standards and implement required changes to accounting methodologies Oversee annual financial audits, including preparation of schedules and responses to auditor inquiries Support multi-state compliance activities, including sales/use tax, payroll tax reconciliations, and corporate reporting Perform ad hoc financial analysis related to profitability, ROI, operating efficiency, and margin performance Improve and standardize financial metrics across divisions for consistent reporting Qualifications for the Senior Accountant 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role CPA preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's degree a plus Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, lookups required; Power BI or modeling a plus) Experience in staffing, healthcare services, or multi-entity environments strongly preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate across departments Experience supporting system implementations or process automation is a plus #INDEC2025 #ZRCFS #LI-KH1 #LI-REMOTE
