Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Hackensack, NJ
Duration: 3 Months contract (Possibility of extension)
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM & 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM or as needed. 5x 8hrs. Weekends as needed. Holidays as needed. On call required. Float Requirement: Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT coverage as needed.
Pay Rate: $70/HOUR-W2
Note: PER DIEM RATES PROVIDED TO THE CANDIDATE LIVING MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY.
Job Summary: · Provides immobilization devices as required. Selects and operates Nuclear Medicine equipment as directed. · Evaluates radio images using the PACS System to ensure that radio images contain proper identification and are of diagnostic value. · Provides radiation protection for self and the patient in accordance with prescribed safety. · Performs radionuclide procedures on patients inclusive of organ imaging, function studies, and assisting the physician in the therapeutic use of radioisotopes under prescribed safety conditions.
