New Business
Target customers include emerging, mid‑size, and large Pharma companies with mid/late‑stage clinical development projects for sterile and oral solid formulations.
Own new customer and contact prospecting within the U.S. East Coast, presenting Siegfried’s worldwide technical capabilities with a focus on drug product while highlighting drug substance offerings.
Formulate and implement new business development strategies based on market research and industry insights.
Engage in Siegfried social marketing activities to raise awareness of company offerings and planned events.
Support client visits to the various sites within Siegfried’s global manufacturing network.
Stakeholder Management
Orchestrate global and local efforts to grow business. Plan and align with customers on requirements, forecasts, and firm orders to ensure seamless execution of new business within the global network.
Work with technical teams to evaluate and assess new projects, enabling preparation and submission of written proposals.
Develop contracts with new customers (in conjunction with Siegfried departments) and remain responsible for monitoring and compliance.
Your Profile
Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in oral and sterile contract development and contract manufacturing services is a must. A strong understanding of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is essential.
Additional knowledge of the CDMO or drug product services pharmaceutical industry (Business Development, Sales, R&D, production, project management) is an edge.
BSc / MSc / PhD degree in pharmacy, chemistry, natural sciences, chemical engineering, or MBA are viewed favorably, though not required.
Driven with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong teamwork, and capability to work autonomously to achieve goals.
High resilience and determination to effectively convey Siegfried’s value proposition in a competitive industry.
Excellent overall communication skills and ability to work with domestic and international colleagues.
Approximately 50 % travel required.
