We’re helping them hire an

Offensive Security Manager

to sit in their Bay Area HQ (Menlo Park, CA).

This is a hands‑on leadership role owning offensive security, vulnerability management, and automated security validation across a complex, fast‑moving product and infrastructure environment.

What you’ll do

Lead an elite Offensive Security team running red team operations, internal pen tests, and adversary emulation campaigns.

Own the Vulnerability Management function: continuous discovery, triage, and remediation across cloud, infra, apps, and endpoints (including bug bounty intake).

Build and scale automated security validation pipelines that codify security knowledge (purple teaming, attack simulation, continuous testing frameworks).

Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Threat Intel, and Detection & Response to ensure controls are continuously tested and gaps are closed.

Build the metrics, dashboards, and processes to communicate risk, remediation progress, and control assurance to senior leadership.

Contribute to long‑term security strategy by identifying control gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities to scale security through automation and “security as code.”

Does this sound like you?

5+ years in Security with 3+ years managing technical teams in Offensive Security, Red Teaming, or Vulnerability Management.

Deep technical foundations in adversary simulation, threat modeling, and vulnerability lifecycle management.

Experience building and scaling automated security validation (purple team, attack simulation, CI‑driven security tests, etc.).

Strong ability to translate offensive findings and vuln data into business‑relevant risk stories and clear remediation plans.

Comfortable operating in complex, highly regulated, and high‑scale environments.

Proven track record of influencing cross‑functional teams and driving remediation without always having direct authority.

You enjoy building high‑performing teams, setting a high bar, giving direct feedback, and creating a culture of ownership and integrity.

Level, location & compensation

Level:

Engineering Manager / Senior Engineering Manager (depending on experience)

Location:

Menlo Park, CA – expectation of 4 days/week in office

Compensation:

Highly competitive for Bay Area late‑stage tech, with base salary in the upper‑$200Ks range (potential to get to $300K for top candidates) plus bonus and meaningful equity, alongside a strong benefits package.
