Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience building integrated systems throughout the entire lifecycle (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, implement, and support).

5 years of experience in full‑cycle SAP implementations.

5 years of experience designing and implementing finance, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), or supply chain systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.

10 years of experience in full‑cycle SAP implementations and support projects.

Experience with SDLC phases, including requirements gathering, blueprinting, authoring functional specifications, system configuration, testing, etc.

Experience with SAP SOM and SAP FI.

Understanding of order management, booking, or product fulfillment processes.

Excellent problem‑solving, people‑management, and communication skills, with a demonstrable bias toward action.

About the Job The OREO team is at the heart of Google Cloud's commercial success. We own the order booking and product fulfillment orchestration processes in Google Cloud, and we are on a mission to modernize and automate the entire Quote‑to‑Cash lifecycle, from order and provisioning to billing. At the forefront of Cloud’s commercial initiatives, our work is critical to ensuring data quality and consistency across all financial, sales compensation and transaction systems in Cloud.

As a member of our team, you will drive the transition from legacy systems to Cloud’s new, automated booking and orchestration platform, help launch new agreement types, products and GTM motions across all of Cloud, and fundamentally reshape the experience of customers and Googlers post‑agreements. As a Business System Analyst for the ordering platform, you will be at the forefront of modernizing and automating Google Cloud’s Quote‑to‑Cash process. Your specific focus will be on software subscription ordering and fulfillment—the way we commercialize Cloud’s most strategic SaaS, AI and security products. We leverage SAP SOM and SAP FI, which is deeply embedded into the Google‑built ordering platform, the single source of truth for all Google Cloud agreements.

Responsibilities

Partner with internal business teams and stakeholders in developing delivery roadmaps and associated system requirements for ordering, booking and provisioning processes.

Partner with business stakeholders to define product requirements and build robust solutions for complex business problems.

Plan, prioritize, deliver, and support systems solutions related to both SAP SOM and 1P systems suite that supports subscriptions.

Execute on system implementation projects which involve requirements documentation, system design, model building/configuration, testing, issue identification, and bug resolution.

Create comprehensive documentation for system solution designs, configurations, test strategy, test plans, and issue resolution. Collaborate with engineering and other cross‑functional teams to launch, maintain, and retire products.

Senior Business Systems Analyst salary range:

$147,000–$216,000

+ bonus + equity + benefits. Compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
