How You'll Create Opportunities In This Role
Develop deep client relationships by delivering a full range of tax planning and consulting services tailored to client needs.
Assume full responsibility for all services for your book of business.
Review and sign engagement letters, discuss assignment terms with clients and staff, and approve fees.
Review and approve work papers and tax returns prepared by staff.
Review and sign client deliverables.
Stay current on tax law changes.
Provide meaningful consultation and technical expertise to clients and CLA professionals, continuously increasing your marketplace value.
Help build CLA’s practice by strengthening client relationships, driving new business development, and mentoring team members.
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
Current CPA licensure required. (JD or EA may be acceptable in lieu of CPA.)
10+ years of public accounting experience in a tax role within a public accounting or professional services firm.
The compensation range for this position in New Jersey is: $195,000 - $300,000. The compensation range for this position in New York is $300,000 - $400,000.
