Job Overview A senior Project Manager at a top Design‑Build general contractor located in Chicago. Responsible for overseeing multiple projects, or one large project, across a variety of construction markets.
Responsibilities
Lead projects from initiation to close, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
Hire and manage subcontractors, ensuring quality and compliance.
Coordinate vendors and track inventory of equipment and materials.
Ensure compliance with regulations, permits, and project‑management methodology.
Maintain project schedule and budget, meeting deadlines and staying within budget limits.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
5+ years of project management experience.
Experience with design‑build construction.
Technically literate and detail‑oriented.
Motivated team player with strong organizational skills.
