FP&A Director, US
Join Darktrace’s close-knit FP&A team as Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for the US, leading the next phase of growth for our AI‑powered cybersecurity platform.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects; support senior decision making with financial analysis and sensitivity scenarios.
Drive monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis and Board‑level analysis.
Continuously leverage and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, such as Sales, R&D and HR.
Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, mergers and acquisitions.
Requirements
8+ years of professional experience in FP&A (or related) role.
Bachelor’s degree in finance‑related field and/or professional qualification (MBA, CFA, CPA, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and take initiative.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
Advanced proficiency with ERP tools (e.g., Workday, NetSuite, SAP) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
Solid understanding of SaaS business models and metrics.
Willingness to work flexibly to accommodate reporting deadlines across the year.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a Private Equity‑backed environment, with strong understanding of PE reporting requirements and value‑creation strategies.
Experience with Workday HCM and Workday Financials.
Experience with Adaptive Financials / Workforce Planning.
Experience with Salesforce.
