The opportunity: We are looking for a talented and driven Sales Director - Mass Accounts to join our U.S. Sales Team.
This role will focus exclusively on the Mass Retail Channel, managing and expanding relationships with major U.S. mass accounts.
The role reports directly to the Vice President of USA Sales & will work across the combined Paladone & WeCool portfolio.
What are key duties of the role? Mass Account Management
Deliver against all KPIs for your designated Mass Retail accounts.
Achieve and exceed sales targets in line with budgets and forecasts.
Act as the main point of contact for strategic mass retail partners, building strong relationships across buying, merchandising, and marketing teams.
Manage buying schedules, seasonal reviews, and annual planning cycles.
Prepare compelling presentations and data-driven insights for buyer meetings.
Develop customer-specific sales and product strategies across both Paladone & WeCool product categories.
Work cross-functionally to manage samples, costings, pricing negotiation, and customer packaging/compliance needs.
Analyse customer performance data and coordinate with Supply Chain on forecasting, stock levels, and delivery expectations.
Trade Shows
Represent both Paladone & WeCool at U.S. trade shows.
Meet with new and existing mass retailers, identifying upselling and expansion opportunities.
Deliver engaging product demonstrations and secure new orders.
Follow up on all leads to maximise sales conversion.
Sales Administration
Provide accurate forecasts by Mass account and maintain pipeline reporting.
Track sales leads, opportunities, and account developments.
New Business Development
Identify new mass retail partners, categories, and growth opportunities aligned with Paladone and WeCool's product direction.
What we need you to bring to the team
Bachelor's degree or 8-10 years' experience in Mass Retail Sales.
Proven success selling consumer products to large U.S. mass retailers.
Strong negotiation, influencing, and account management abilities.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Experience analysing customer data and delivering accurate sales forecasts.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working cross-functionally.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ability to travel across the U.S. and visit the New Jersey office as required.
