Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Full-Time, School-Based, Boston Public Schools
Schedule: Monday–Friday during the school year (summer work available).
Job Summary: An SSAC Behavior Analyst is an experienced BCBA who demonstrates strong clinical skills, commitment to supervising a team of behavior therapists, and excellent communication with parents, supervisors, and supervisees. Maintains a caseload of clients as determined by the Clinical or Executive Director and carries out all clinical services for each client. Collaborates with other BCBAs and the Clinical Director of the Program and supervises all Behavior Therapists who work with their clients.
Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities
Client‑specific oversight: initial assessment, treatment plan writing, reassessments, data monitoring, and maintaining session schedule.
Supervise and mentor Behavior Therapists, train new staff, and provide ongoing professional development.
Serve as the main point of contact for families; provide daily/weekly updates and address concerns.
Facilitate client transition to a new team when clinically appropriate.
Provide school consultation and collaborate with other providers and professionals.
Protect client and family confidentiality.
Contribute to site‑specific and company‑wide projects as directed.
Participate in clinical meetings, staff meetings, and professional development.
Qualifications (Education / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities)
Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, education, psychology, or a related field.
BCBA certification and Massachusetts license (LABA).
One (1) plus year of BCBA experience or newly certified BCBA.
At least three (3) years of ABA experience or experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
At least three (3) years of experience working with children with autism ages 14 and younger, including toddlers.
Two recent redacted writing samples demonstrating clinical skills (e.g., Functional Behavior Assessment, Treatment Plan, Behavior Support Plan, Instructional Program).
Two (2) references from a professional or academic supervisor.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Physical ability to occasionally lift or transport clients or equipment weighing up to 40 lbs and move quickly.
Must consent to a criminal background investigation.
Travel to clients’ homes on the South Shore as needed.
