Debt Finance Associate
A leading international law firm is seeking a
Debt Finance Associate
to join its growing Finance practice. The ideal candidate will have
1–5 years of experience
representing
lenders, borrowers, and/or private equity sponsors
in a wide range of
debt financing transactions .
Base Pay Range $225,000.00/yr - $365,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Represent lenders, borrowers, and private equity sponsors in debt financing transactions
Support
secured lending transactions , including collateral and credit documentation
Assist with
acquisition financing , including drafting and reviewing
commitment letters
Manage and support
transaction closings , including preparation and coordination of closing deliverables
Draft and review transaction documents,
issues lists , and related materials
Work collaboratively across practice areas on complex, multi‑disciplinary matters
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
Working knowledge of
Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code
Experience with
debt securities offerings , including
high yield and/or convertible notes
Familiarity with
general corporate law
and transactional structures
Prior training and development at a
large law firm
Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Education & Bar Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent
from a nationally recognized law school
Demonstrated
strong academic performance
Admission to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction (or ability to become admitted promptly)
Compensation The expected annual salary range for this position is
$225,000–$365,000 , depending on geographic location, experience, and skill set. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and applicable market factors.
