A nationally recognized engineering consulting firm is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its downtown Seattle office. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed professional with expertise in site development and infrastructure design. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex challenges, and values innovation. You’ll work on high‑profile projects including urban developments, mixed‑use sites, and large‑scale commercial projects that shape communities and cityscapes. This is an in‑office role in Seattle, WA. Must be able to reliably commute Monday‑Friday.
Base pay range:
$120,000.00/yr – $160,000.00/yr
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Design and manage civil engineering aspects of major development projects
Prepare site layouts, grading plans, utility design, and stormwater management systems
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines
Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
Support client relationships and assist with proposals
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) License
5+ years of experience in civil site design and land development
Proficiency in Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software
Strong understanding of grading, utilities, and stormwater systems
Excellent communication and project management skills
