About The Job A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Privacy, Safety & Security (PSS) Strategy & Operations team works to enable PSS to deliver on its mission of keeping everyone safe, at scale. We drive strategic initiatives, optimize operations, and foster cross-functional alignment across PSS and with partner organizations throughout Google.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead our internal communications and engagement initiatives within PSS. This role is pivotal in fostering a connected, informed, and engaged organization. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance communication flow, build a strong sense of community, and create impactful engagement opportunities for all levels within PSS, including key leadership events like executive summits and PSS team meetings. You will work closely with PSS leadership, Chief of Staff, and teams across the pillar to ensure our internal communications are clear, consistent, and effective.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

Craft clear, concise, and engaging content for various internal channels (e.g., emails, newsletters, intranet sites, presentations, team meetings). Manage and optimize existing communication channels and explore new ways to reach and engage PSS Googlers.

Lead the planning and execution of key internal PSS events, such as leadership summits, team meetings, team‑building activities, and speaker series. This includes agenda development, content coordination, logistics management, and post‑event follow‑up.

Design and manage programs to enhance employee engagement, foster collaboration, and reinforce PSS culture and values.

Establish mechanisms to gather feedback on communication effectiveness and event impact. Use insights to continuously improve future initiatives.
