As an Engineering Manager in the AEM Co‑Innovation Engineering (ACE) team, you will play a critical role in evolving Experience Manager product development to be truly customer‑centric and AI‑first.
What You’ll Do Inspire & Accelerate Innovation Lead a team of outstanding AEM engineers to develop innovative product features that solve real business needs and demonstrate measurable value. Champion an AI‑first mentality and modern development practices, ensuring rapid iteration and continuous experimentation.
Lead with Customer Obsession Build trusted relationships with Adobe’s most strategic customers, deeply understand their business needs, and represent Adobe as their engineering leadership sponsor.
Cultivate a Growth Culture Mentor engineers to think boldly, deliver with quality, fail fast, and continually expand their skills while championing inclusivity, curiosity, and accountability.
Connect Vision to Execution Bridge the gap between customer innovation and Adobe’s product organization. Partner closely with Product and Go‑to‑Market leaders to align customer needs with product vision and track impact with outcome‑based metrics.
Recruit and Develop Top Talent Attract and build an exceptional Forward Deployed Engineering team that blends deep technical skills, an AI‑first mentality, customer empathy, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
What You Bring
Proven Engineering Leadership: 10+ years in software engineering, 5+ years leading high‑performing teams delivering enterprise‑scale solutions.
AEM Mastery: Deep expertise with Adobe Experience Manager and Experience Cloud implementations, including AEM as a Cloud Service and Edge Delivery Services.
AI‑Driven Curiosity: Hands‑on engagement with modern AI tools, models, and architectures, and a drive to apply them creatively in enterprise contexts.
Customer Centricity: Passion for solving real business challenges with simplicity and measurable value.
Entrepreneurial Drive: Track record of building, experimenting, and iterating quickly, with humility to fail fast when needed.
Innovative Approach: Ability to spot patterns, synthesize ideas, and translate emerging tech into practical innovation.
Executive Presence: Strong storytelling and collaboration skills that inspire confidence from customers, peers, and executives.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $147,900 – $293,250 annually; actual pay varies by location and candidate experience. Your recruiter can share specific salary information during the hiring process.
