Position Overview
The Adams County Correctional Facility in Natchez, MS is seeking a licensed
Dentist
to provide professional dental care to inmates. The facility houses approximately 1,700 male Immigration and Customs Enforcement inmates and has a full clinic with medical, dental, and mental health staff.
Responsibilities
Provide routine dental treatment, including examination of teeth and gums for cavities, infections, and diseases; take necessary X‑rays.
Perform fillings and extractions as warranted.
Diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans for inmates.
Develop, coordinate, and supervise the facility dental program and advise and instruct inmates on the prevention of dental disease.
Qualifications
Licensed dentist in Mississippi.
Must pass ICE clearance.
1‑3 years of experience in general dentistry.
