General Role Description At Kelsey‑Seybold Clinic, our Obstetrics and Gynecology Department consists of specialists whose focus is women’s health. Our OB/GYN Department and individual providers form a diverse and cohesive group of caring and competent physicians. We serve patients within values of patient service, mutual respect, value‑based care, and evidence‑based care, while nurturing our providers. Our providers are responsible for general gynecological care of women, as well as pregnancy and the reproductive system. They focus on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of general health problems and specific female anatomy disorders such as breast and cervical cancer, urinary tract and pelvic disorders, and hormonal disorders. They also specialize in childbirth, counseling women throughout pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care. The role spans the adult lifetime of women’s care, meeting their medical and surgical needs from adolescence through menopause.

Responsibilities

Provide general gynecological care to women.

Provide care related to pregnancy and the reproductive system.

Prevent, diagnose, and treat general health problems and disorders specific to the female anatomy.

Specialize in childbirth, counseling women throughout pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care.

Meet women’s medical and surgical needs across the adult lifespan.

Required Qualifications

Completed residency and practicing, or be in residency when applying.

Graduate of an approved training program from an accredited medical school, residency or fellowship program upon hire.

Licensed in the State of Texas.

Board Certified and/or Board Eligible.

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency.

The salary range for this role is $104,500 to $156,000 annually based on full‑time employment. Salary is defined as total cash compensation at target. Pay mix of base and bonus is variable based on experience and metrics.
