Are you a charismatic LPN looking to further your career? Dayton Physicians Network is looking to add an LPN to our Atrium Medical Center clinic location.

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care, assists physician and practitioners with patient care, administrative, environmental and organizational tasks.

Schedule Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, 8 hour shifts. May need to float to other Oncology office locations as needed. No weekends, evenings or holidays! Work/life balance schedules.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Greets patients and assists with patient flow

Administers medications, performs procedures directed by physician and practitioners

Assists with preparatory activities such as taking and documenting vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height and weight, and communicates abnormalities to physician or practitioner

Reviews and documents patient medical history including medications, allergies, and medical alerts, documents in the electronic medical record

Contact patients with lab and test results and indicates required follow-up, as directed

Documents all medical contacts

Assists physician and practitioners with relaying instructions to patients and families

Replenishes supplies and removes biohazard waste from patient rooms as directed

Maintains any necessary logs

Participates in professional development activities to keep current with job responsibilities

Follow all health care privacy and safety rules and adheres to Dayton Physicians Core Values

Requirements

This position required an active LPN license the state(s) of practice.

One (1) year of previous experience as an LPN.

2-4 years’ experience is preferred.

Current CPR certification, if not it must be obtained within 60 days of employment and kept current thereafter.
