We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategy Senior Analyst to join our team. This role will focus on new program development, carrier management, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). The Strategy Senior Analyst will support MD&A within priority segments, assist Affinity business leaders in long‑range planning, identify growth opportunities, and drive continuous improvement across Affinity businesses.

What The Day Will Look Like Strategic Planning

Partner with Affinity business leaders to identify growth and margin improvement opportunities.

Assist BU leaders in managing active programs and evaluating new additions.

Maintain regular communication with underwriting teams and attend industry events.

Help operationalize strategy and assess its impact on financial goals and organic growth.

Analyze internal and external factors affecting profitability.

Support strategic project execution.

Agile Business Accelerator (Incubator)

Support identification and refinement of new growth opportunities.

Provide research and strategic insights on program prospects and market conditions.

Accelerate program launches in collaboration with the Agile Business Accelerator.

Partner with AIC to ensure transparent and efficient investment decision‑making.

Carrier Management

Facilitate internal and external stakeholder meetings.

Collaborate with Aon Inpoint, Aon Re, Totalis, and other carrier stakeholders.

Monitor and report on carrier strategy performance.

Build cross‑LOB relationships to promote Affinity opportunities.

M&A Support

Maintain M&A pipeline.

Conduct financial analysis for acquisition and divestiture decisions.

Assist with M&A due diligence and integration efforts.

Prepare and present investment results to senior management.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

2+ years of insurance industry or strategy experience.

Demonstrated excellence in problem solving, decision making, and analytic skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to partner and collaborate with colleagues across the business.

Strong experience working with Microsoft products (Excel and PowerPoint).

Ability to work independently and manage projects; ability to work under pressure to meet specific deadlines.

Education Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent years of industry experience.

Pay Transparency Laws The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $78,000 - $95,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
