Senior Process Engineer
to join their cutting‑edge
Automated Test
development team at their headquarters in
Hopkinton, MA , that drives major advancements in automated testing capabilities for common illnesses.
This exciting opportunity to take ownership of enterprise‑scale Biotech process engineering starts as a
12‑month W2 contract
offering a flexible onsite schedule at their
Hopkinton, MA
headquarters, competitive
benefits , and the potential for extension or conversion to permanent employment.
Base pay range $50.00/hr – $55.00/hr
Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership in developing, validating, and scaling up manufacturing and assembly processes for new product lines in the biotechnology space.
Collaborate with suppliers and partners to ensure quality standards, robust controls, and effective supply‑chain integration.
Generate design outputs throughout each development phase, enabling smooth documentation, process setup, and successful manufacturing validation.
Address key technical challenges and ensure that critical‑to‑quality requirements are met in every stage of development.
Lead design transfer activities, compiling and maintaining device master records (DMR) and guiding manufacturing readiness.
Support process verification and validation activities while maintaining compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and GMP.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree
in Engineering or Life Sciences required; advanced degree (Master’s or higher) strongly preferred.
Minimum
6 years
of hands‑on experience establishing and validating complex manufacturing processes.
Certified or experienced
Six Sigma
practitioner with a proven track record of leading cross‑functional engineering projects.
Solid background working in
FDA‑regulated , quality management environments; direct experience with
medical devices
is highly valued.
Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with external suppliers, contract manufacturers, and technical partners.
