Field Engineer II – Skanska
Skanska is searching for a dynamic Field Engineer II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in the construction industry and a solid understanding of safety, estimating, project management, and operations. The Field Engineer will have decision‑making authority, manage and coordinate the crew, but will not perform manual labor.
Responsibilities
Supervise and oversee the work of construction crews.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and operations staff to monitor progress.
Provide technical guidance and resolve on‑site issues.
Assist in project planning and scheduling.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering or equivalent experience.
At least 2 years of relevant construction experience.
Practical knowledge of job area usually gained through advanced education and experience.
