We're looking for a savvy yet humble Marketing Director with AdTech, Apple Ads, and/or User Acquisition industry marketing experience. This position will oversee planning, development and execution of marketing strategies to drive client acquisition, brand awareness and support sales objectives. This role bridges strategic and creative thinking across digital, traditional and event-based channels and will be our sole marketing person for now.
You will focus on various marketing initiatives including Lead Generation, collateral preparation, conference/event marketing and general marketing needs. You should have an ALL-IN spirit, learn fast, and not be afraid to take risks by going above and beyond to drive our marketing programs to the next level. You thrive in a dynamic environment, are creative, data-driven, and an independent self-starter — while knowing how to orchestrate initiatives between sales and marketing teams and their goals.
What you do:
Take full ownership of initiating, strategizing, and planning holistic marketing efforts, driving both brand impact and business results — from lead generation/new logo pipeline creation to creating meaningful, strategic touchpoints with existing customers and partners. As important, tracking results of all marketing efforts to see what works and doesn’t – leading data-driven, results-driven marketing efficiency.
Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, social media, email campaigns and paid advertising
Conduct market research and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities and measure campaign performance
Collaborate with product, sales and operations to develop promotional content, oroduct launches and customer engament initiatives.
Lead all event marketing initiatives, including conference events, virtual events, content programs, and other innovative projects. Take end-to-end ownership covering ideation, logistics, budgeting, client/partner coordination, branding, documentation, and follow-up.
Build and nurture relationships with industry media, institutions, and ecosystem partners to drive joint marketing initiatives across online and offline channels, maximizing pipeline growth.
Manage parternship agencies to ensure consistent and effective delivery of positioning and messaging across stakeholders and channels, while continuously tracking results and optimizing for success.
Continuously evaluate and prioritize opportunities, making data-driven decisions to optimize impact and efficiency.
What you have:
Willingness to work in office 4 days/week in Stamford, CT
Ideally experience in the Apple Search Ads space, App Development UA, and/or general AdTech industry
Experience with Reddit, Discourse, related alternative outlets
5+ years of general omni-channel marketing, event and/or field marketing experience in B2B (Ad)tech companies
Successful marketing experience leading end-to-end marketing campaigns and live events (online and offline).
Creative mind and at least some basic visual design/artistic experience
Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational, time management, and negotiation skills.
Self-starter; able to work independently in a rapidly growing company with a growth mindset; strong multi-tasking skills.
Empathetic, collaborative mindset, able to build trust and work efficiently with key stakeholders and co-workers.
Works well under pressure.
High standards for production and deliverable quality.
Strong presentation skills, and best-in-class PowerPoint and Google Slides skills.
Bachelor’s degree or higher with a track record of academic excellence.
