Regional Sales Manager(Eastern Region)

BYD's Material Handling Business is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to achieve aggressive sales targets and grow business with major accounts within an assigned geographical area.
Key qualifications include proven sales or customer support experience in the forklift, material handling equipment, or related industrial sector; ability to coordinate with many stakeholders in complex technical sales; and an ability to manage multiple large accounts simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with BYD Leadership to establish and execute sales targets for the region.
Instill confidence with dealer management and resolve conflicts effectively.
Act as a team player, communicating and working effectively with peers and the broader BYD team.
Forecast and report monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Develop specific plans to ensure short‑term and long‑term growth.
Develop territory sales and marketing strategies.
Analyze market data to find the most effective sales methods.
Communicate with customers to understand concerns and provide solutions.
Identify new sales opportunities through market research.
Present products and services to customers and project partners.
Participate in industry events (e.g., trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships.
Provide dealer training to support sales forecast achievement.
Participate and support special projects from time to time as requested by manager.
Monitor competition within assigned region.
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in technical sales and/or sales and marketing.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred).
Strong knowledge of dealer management and channel sales.
Excellent communication skills with high levels of technical, financial, and commercial aptitude.
Self‑motivated, proactive, and results‑oriented.
Ability to travel frequently within the United States to meet dealers and customers.
Salary Range $85,000.00 – $100,000.00
