Enterprise Data Architect or Data Modelling Lead Will play a critical role in shaping the future of our data capabilities as part of the strategic and critical Enterprise Data Transformation (EDT) program. This individual‑contributor role focuses on delivering a modern enterprise‑wide lakehouse that offers scalable, reliable, and business‑intuitive data architecture to support self‑service capabilities across Data & Analytics solutions. The incumbent will partner closely with cross‑functional teams, building an enterprise data model that supports Analytics, GenBI, AI/ML, and Data Sandboxing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Define and lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the data platform (data lakes, warehouses, governance, data quality, observability, etc.) aligned with business objectives and technological advancements.

Rapidly deliver design and development of the enterprise data model (functional, logical, physical) in advanced cloud‑based solutions such as AWS‑based Databricks, ensuring seamless data integration, quality, compliance, and security.

Map existing legacy data warehouses to an enterprise‑level data model that fits within a medallion architecture lakehouse platform, preparing for current and future GenAI analytics needs.

Partner with business stakeholders and internal data solutions teams to empower business for self‑service.

Collaborate with IT and business with a product mindset, ensuring data models meet business needs and drive innovation.

Encourage continuous improvement by challenging existing processes & solutions and proposing new scalable and creative solutions.

Own accountability and ownership of delivery, driving projects to completion.

Minimum Qualifications

7+ years of IT‑related work experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; OR 9+ years of IT‑related work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

5+ years of programming experience (e.g., Java, Python).

3+ years of experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.

3+ years of experience with data structures and algorithms.

12+ years of experience in data management, data engineering, or data science roles, with at least 7 years in building enterprise‑level data models for data modernization and DW migration.

Strong understanding and hands‑on experience with lakehouse medallion data architecture and governance.

Proven implementation experience migrating legacy DW data models to a 3‑layer medallion architecture.

Strong passion for exploring GenAI‑based solutions and building strategic data models for Databricks.

Experience with machine learning, AI, and predictive analytics is a plus.

Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills for a global hybrid delivery model.

Strong problem‑solving skills with strategic thought process, self‑initiative, and proactive soft skills.
