Base pay range $180,000 - $275,000 per year

Role Overview As an Integrations Software Engineer, you’ll design and deliver integrations that maximize the full value of the Binti platform, working closely with partners and customers. You’ll take ownership of high‑impact, externally‑facing technical projects—from discovery and architecture sessions to launch—combining deep engineering experience with excellent communication skills and a service‑oriented mindset.

Location & Travel Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, the role follows a hybrid schedule: in‑person from the office on Monday and Thursday, remote otherwise. Occasional travel to customer locations (~once a month) is required for design, discovery, co‑development, and technical onboarding.

What You Will Do

Lead architecture discussions to ensure integrations are sound, reliable, and performant.

Optimize tools used by Binti’s internal delivery teams and customers.

Write full‑stack code (80% backend, 20% frontend).

Mentor engineers on best practices.

Improve performance of integration pipelines, APIs, and components.

Participate in discovery and architecture sessions with customers.

Build and monitor stable, performant, scalable integration pipelines and APIs.

Provide live support and consulting to customer development teams.

Deliver product feedback to improve Binti’s modules and capabilities.

Collaborate with Product Management to scope and execute features.

Advocate for patterns that make the codebase flexible, scalable, and approachable.

Champion security and privacy, ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Sample Projects

Design integrations for new customers during introduction meetings.

Provide live support during co‑development with customers.

Develop new API endpoints, connectors, or integration tools.

Triage and fix post‑launch support requests.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.

Strong startup mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and fast MVP iteration.

Experience with legacy systems, especially in government contexts.

Architectural, build, and maintenance skills for distributed integrated systems.

Comfortable with APIs, ETL pipelines, enterprise data warehouses, and related tech.

Self‑managed with effective time management.

Excellent collaboration with cross‑functional partners.
