We are working with Tulane University School of Medicine to recruit for a Gastrointestinal Oncologist to join a growing division and cancer program in New Orleans. The division's purpose is the treatment and control of cancer, the advancement of biomedical knowledge through laboratory and clinical research, and the training of physicians, scientists, and other healthcare workers. Tulane is a Tier-1 research university, in the top 2% of research universities nationally, and they
empower their physicians to become leaders in their field by collaborating with bench researchers, heading clinical trials, and publishing as primary authors for translational clinical trial research.
About the Role
As a successful clinical investigator, you will build a clinical and translational research program focused on GI Oncology
You will be responsible for teaching fellows, residents, and medical students in addition to leading clinical trial research
Significant protected time, allowing for dedicated focus on research and academic pursuits
You will collaborate with a dedicated team of 3 Hepatologists and specialized Gastroenterology faculty
Receive strong APP support for clinical care
As a builder, you will have the opportunity to establish and grow a successful and recognized program around GI Oncology
Research Opportunities and Clinical Trials We have a variety of clinical trials that directly contribute to advancing treatment options for this specific cancer population.
