Job Title: General Manager Gerber Collision & Glass is one of the largest collision repair companies in North America, with over 1,000 locations and 10,000+ team members across the United States and Canada. As a General Manager, you will be the driving force behind exceptional customer experiences and daily operations of a Collision Center.

Job Description The General Manager’s primary responsibility is to provide an outstanding customer experience while leading and maintaining day‑to‑day operations of the Store in compliance with established policies and procedures. The role includes planning and implementing daily operations, coaching team members, maintaining high quality standards, and ensuring alignment with all customers.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.

Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the collision center.

Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expense objectives.

Deliver formal annual performance reviews and informal monthly performance reviews.

Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision Center.

Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times.

Monitor all maintenance required for all shop equipment, including the paint booth.

Provide training for all staff as necessary.

Ensure all staff wear proper safety gear and adhere to dress code.

Open and close the facility daily as per established procedures.

Conduct or coordinate daily production meetings/walks to confirm throughput and delivery dates.

Manage all estimates to ensure labor mix is within established standards; manage store capacity.

Lead and manage all repair facility personnel.

Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings; attend monthly managers meetings.

Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Senior Leadership Team.

Review and follow up on Store CSI performance within 24 hours.

Education and Experience Required

Post-Secondary Education or equivalent.

Proven leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar role.

Required Skills and Abilities

Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

Ability to consistently demonstrate a successful client experience.

Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.

Ability to motivate others using effective coaching tools and management skills.

Compensation Details Salary:

$72,000 – $104,000 per year

Supplemental Pay:

Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience. This position may also be eligible for bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
