to support its growing housing portfolio. The Manager is responsible for ensuring full and timely compliance with all

Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and HUD Project-Based Section 8

program requirements and provides leadership, oversight, and technical guidance to the Compliance Department. Key Responsibilities Conduct internal compliance reviews for all MHANY entities to assess LIHTC, HUD, and other program requirements. Develop and implement strategies to address outstanding compliance and reporting obligations. Prepare, review, and submit all required documentation to HUD, HCR, HPD, HDC, and other regulatory agencies. Ensure ongoing timely and complete compliance with LIHTC, Section 8, HOME, and other program regulations at the federal, state, and local levels. Manage daily operations of the Compliance Department, including workflows, reporting systems, and quality assurance processes. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve compliance issues and implement best practices. Oversee annual certification and recertification cycles, including notifications, scheduling, and documentation. Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential resident files. Provide training, coaching, and support to compliance staff. Qualifications Required Minimum 5 years of experience in LIHTC and HUD Project-Based Section 8 compliance. Proven leadership experience, ideally within nonprofit housing or development organizations. Current LIHTC, Fair Housing, and/or related housing compliance certifications. Strong knowledge of HUD, HCR, HPD, HDC regulations and Fair Housing Act guidelines. Excellent judgment, ethics, and professionalism. Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and affordable housing software (YARDI, HUD systems). Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Bachelor’s degree or higher. Location
