This role offers a base pay range of $85,500.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr, with final compensation determined by skills and experience.

Program Implementation Manager

develops, executes, and implements programs and procedures that align with organizational goals, evaluates existing programs to identify improvements, measures outcomes, builds and maintains stakeholder relationships, and collaborates with management to streamline processes.

Responsibilities

Develops strategies, identifies opportunities, and implements projects, programs, and procedures to support the organization; supports staff, volunteers, and vendors to achieve goals; manages budgets and monitors performance.

Plans, organizes, and implements assigned projects/procedures, determining resources, tracking budgets, setting scopes and timelines, and evaluating progress toward milestones.

Ensures adherence to internal and external quality standards; organizes teams, leads stakeholders, and establishes communication plans.

Evaluates existing programs/processes to identify improvements and measure performance against goals and desired outcomes; analyzes and tests current processes for effectiveness and efficiency.

Collects data, performs root‑cause analysis, proposes solutions, and uses data to identify program and process enhancements.

Engages stakeholders and partners to communicate program intent, identify collaboration opportunities, and improve programmatic outcomes; develops communications related to priority programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of program or project management experience.

Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage programs and procedures aligned with organizational goals.

Proficiency in collecting, synthesizing, and interpreting data, performing root‑cause analysis, and proposing effective solutions.

Strong budget development and management skills, including tracking expenditures and monitoring performance against targets.

Experience in planning, organizing, and executing projects—including scoping, resource allocation, timeline setting, and milestone tracking.

Ability to analyze existing programs and processes, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and implement improvements for better outcomes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building relationships with stakeholders to drive collaboration and achieve goals.

Knowledge of CRM systems for reporting.

Hybrid Work Environment AARP observes Mondays and Fridays as remote workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work can only be performed within the United States and its territories.
