A Day in the Life Life as a Director of Land Development is exciting and fulfilling. You will oversee all aspects of land development activities and lead a talented team of high achievers. Your day will include site planning and design, entitlement project management, creating development schedules and budgets, reviewing and approving corporate documents, managing contractor and consultant relationships, and building relationships with municipalities. Deliverables such as feasibility studies and land development budgets must be completed on time and with high quality. You will also provide key communication to stakeholders.

DXC Homebuilder One (HB1)
Microsoft Office Suite
SharePoint
Microsoft Teams
What Stanley Martin Looks For The ideal candidate is results‑driven, organized, detail‑oriented, and focused on leading an efficient and effective team. They must manage all aspects of a land development project and communicate clearly with internal and external groups.
Must Haves
Residential homebuilder land development experience
Proficiency in developing municipal relationships
General understanding of negotiating and contracting
Ability to learn various technologies utilized on the job
Excitement to collaborate in a team environment
Active listening, confidence, and respect when communicating with others
Nice to Haves
A college degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field of study
General understanding of finance and risk management
