SD/MD of Originations | Private Credit | CRE
A leading real estate investment platform is seeking a SD/MD of Originations to lead and scale its sponsor-driven debt platform focused on bridge and construction lending.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role at a firm with an institutional mindset and entrepreneurial culture. The platform is well-capitalized, highly active, and committed to deploying capital with speed, precision, and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Lead national origination strategy for bridge, construction across CRE
Manage and grow a high-performing team of originators
Own sponsor relationships and drive $1b+ in annual origination volume
Work cross-functionally with credit, capital markets, and executive leadership
Represent the firm externally with sponsors, borrowers, and intermediaries
Ideal Background
10–20+ years of experience in real estate lending, with a focus on CRE/bridge/construction loans
Proven track record originating at scale (firm consistently doing $1B+ annual volume)
Experience building and leading origination teams
Strong credit acumen and committee experience
Entrepreneurial mindset with institutional polish
The position will be remote, based out of Florida.
Compensation Circa $300k base + performance bonus + potential long-term incentive plan. Full suite of benefits.
