Work location: This position may be based anywhere in the United States and includes travel as part of the responsibilities.

Position Summary & Location A OneStream Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing OneStream XF solutions for financial consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. This role bridges business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that OneStream is configured and integrated effectively within the client’s enterprise architecture.

Primary Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

Design, configure and implement OneStream solutions based on business requirements.

Lead architecture and design discussions for new implementations and upgrades.

Build and maintain complex financial models using OneStream capabilities (consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, reporting).

Customer Engagement

Collaborate with finance, product management, and program management teams to gather requirements.

Translate business needs into technical solutions and workflows.

Conduct workshops, training sessions and provide ongoing support.

System Integration & Data Management

Integrate OneStream with ERP, CRM and data warehouses.

Define and configure 2‑way ETL processes, ensuring data integrity during migration and transformation.

Prepare and execute data flow architecture and validation strategies.

Custom Development

Develop custom dashboards, reports and analytics.

Utilise OneStream extensibility features (business rules, workflows, SmartView).

Implement scripting (VB.NET, JavaScript) for advanced customization.

Advanced Configuration

Configure allocations for cost and revenue distribution across entities.

Implement driver‑based forecasting models to support predictive planning.

Enable drill‑through capabilities for detailed transactional analysis from summary reports.

Project Leadership

Lead implementation teams and manage project timelines.

Provide quality assurance and best practices for OneStream deployments.

Support business development through solution demos and proposals.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, Computer Science or related field.

5+ years of experience in financial systems implementation, with at least 2–6 years in OneStream.

Strong knowledge of financial consolidation, budgeting and forecasting processes.

Expertise in metadata concepts (cubes, hierarchies, dimensions, including extensibility).

Experience with data integration tools and transformations.

Technical skills: proficiency in OneStream workflows, cube views, drillable dashboards and security.

Expertise with scripting languages (VB.NET, SQL, JavaScript).

Certifications (preferred): OneStream Certified Professional – Lead Architect.

Preferred Skills

Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and financial data models.

Ability to lead client workshops and provide strategic guidance.

Experience in AI/ML‑based analytics and predictive modelling (a plus).

Compensation & Benefits $150,900.00 – $271,600.00 (range may vary depending on experience and location).

Benefits include health care, dental coverage, vision plans, 401(K) benefits and commission/incentive compensation depending on the role.
