Knowledge of deploying and maintaining cloud‑based infrastructure for data workflows (AWS, GCP, Azure, Redshift).
2 years of technical expertise in cloud applications, data ingestion, and the Databricks Data Lakehouse platform.
4 years of extensive hands‑on experience building ETL interfaces using DataStage 11.7 to aggregate, cleanse and migrate data across enterprise‑wide big data and data warehousing systems.
Combined 4 years of advanced SQL and stored‑procedure experience (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle) with hands‑on experience designing solutions for performance, availability, reliability and security of the DataStage ETL platform.
Deliverables / Tasks
Recommend best practices for ETL processes to extract data from disparate source transaction systems, transform and enrich the data, and load it into optimized data models for analysis and reporting.
Facilitate the best‑in‑class data integration platform.
Recommend and implement features in DataStage 11.7 for optimization.
Recommend training and mentoring plans for knowledge transition to current employees.
Deliver quality results on tasks and assignments.
Technical Knowledge and Skills Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze information, identify and formulate solutions to problems. Provides in‑depth analysis with a high‑level view of goals and end deliverables.
Over 5 years of proven work experience in DataStage, version 11.0 or above, including at least two years with DataStage 11.7.
Over 3 years of proven work experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Shell, and Linux/Unix servers, file structures, and scheduling.
