Essential Functions
Provide final technical review on tax returns and documents for the majority of the client base.
Research tax issues and recommend resolutions.
Stay abreast of developments and changes in tax law and accounting procedures.
Direct, coordinate, schedule, and exercise functional authority for planning, organizing, and coordinating with clients to ensure all deadlines are met.
Communicate and interface with clients to advance their best interests.
Direct and support subordinates’ activities to achieve objectives, set budgets, and provide necessary resources for a high‑performance work environment.
Facilitate monitoring of product quality and personnel performance.
Assign, track, and manage tasks/projects sent to staff/supervisors.
Take an active role in developing staff and supervisors.
Build and nurture internal and external networks to develop new business opportunities.
Manage and oversee real‑time and monthly billing functions, collections, and monitor WIP, aging, and write‑downs.
Facilitate and participate in in‑house CPE and training activities.
Qualifications
CPA certification preferred.
Minimum 10 years of public accounting experience.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Well‑developed decision‑making skills and initiative.
Calm and effective under pressure.
Ability to prioritize a heavy workload and remain organized.
