We have an immediate need for a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst to provide onsite support out of Alexandria, VA. Responsibilities
The candidate will support DoD’s Office of Global Investment and Economic Security (GIES) in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Industrial Base Policy to evaluate the potential impact of mergers, acquisitions, teaming agreements, and other joint business arrangements between firms affecting the defense industry. This evaluation includes effects on national security, the industrial and technology base, innovation, cost savings, and other factors identified in DoD’s directive on evaluating mergers and acquisitions. The candidate will support DoD’s Global Investment and Economic Security Office in the development of risk mitigation options and the monitoring and compliance of Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) mitigation agreements. Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree in finance or general business, with coursework involving economics, competition, and antitrust law and policy 5+ years of total experience with 2+ years supporting national security and commercial finance Able to travel Able to work fully onsite based on client needs Desired
Experience in one or more of the following areas: mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial investment, economic market analysis, defense industry analysis, business organization, technology development, manufacturing base, and supply chain management Experience with the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 Private sector audit or compliance experience Master's degree in the areas of business, finance, economics, or national security Seniority level
