Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Industrial Operations & Strategic Finance
Direct Hire – Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin
Salary: Up to $250,000 plus full benefits. Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder. On-site only.
10+ years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in a high-level leadership position within the manufacturing sector
Bachelor’s degree required; CPA or CMA preferred
This opportunity is within a highly stable, locally-owned manufacturing company in the renewable energy sector, known for continuous improvement, high production efficiency, and a family-focused culture.
Responsibilities
Advise the President and Board on financial performance, prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and provide data for capital investments and strategic projects
Ensure timely and accurate GAAP‑compliant financial statements, oversee all financial audits, and coordinate regulatory compliance (local, state, and federal)
Oversee the comprehensive risk management program, manage insurance renewals, and monitor commodities hedging activities
Administer day‑to‑day financial operations (A/R, A/P, payroll, cash flow, fixed assets) and lead a major ERP system transition/implementation
Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering talent development and maintaining strong relationships with external partners (banks, auditors) and internal corporate members
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA, CPA, CMA strongly preferred)
Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership/supervisory role
Experience in the agricultural, manufacturing, or commodities industry, including risk management and hedging, is highly desirable
Proven leadership with exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities
Experience with ERP system implementation/integration
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
Ability to work under pressure during busy periods
