Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Position Summary The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a strategic financial leader for a fast-paced wholesale and import organization. This role requires extensive experience in supply chain finance, inventory management, international sourcing, and high-volume wholesale operations. The CFO will oversee all financial functions, strengthen controls, optimize profitability, and support organizational growth and long-term planning.
Principal Responsibilities
Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and financial reporting
Manage cost of goods, landed-cost analysis, and margin optimization across imported product lines
Oversee banking relationships, credit facilities, and financing arrangements to support working‑capital needs
Implement strong internal controls; ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and import/export requirements
Partner with executive leadership to drive strategic planning, pricing strategies, and operational efficiencies
Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate new product lines, vendor agreements, and expansion opportunities
Lead and mentor finance, accounting, and operations teams to ensure accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement

Skills & Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required); MBA or CPA strongly preferred
Extensive experience in wholesale, import, or supply-chain-driven industries
Demonstrated experience in financial leadership roles
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, reporting, and ERP/accounting systems
Special Requirements
Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of international sourcing and import/export requirements
