The Staff Pad
Overview: The Staff Pad is excited to partner with a mission-driven, nonprofit healthcare organization in Helena, Montana, to hire an Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) . This is an opportunity to join a compassionate and supportive oncology team that provides direct and indirect patient care with a holistic, family-centered approach. What You'll Do: Deliver high-quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Provide emotional and clinical support to patients navigating cancer treatment, including pain management, chemotherapy, end-of-life care, and body image challenges. Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team about patient condition changes, diagnostic results, and care plans. Serve as a resource and mentor to newer or less experienced nursing staff. Float to other departments as needed, with supervision. What We're Looking For: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current RN license in the state of Montana. Oncology Nursing Certification preferred. Completion of a Chemotherapy/Oncology course within 6-12 months of hire (must be maintained annually). Ability to manage multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and maintain flexibility in scheduling and assignments.
