Part Time (0.5 FTE) Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist Opening - Northern Dutchess Hospital, Rhinebeck, NY
Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, New York, just two hours north of New York City, is seeking a part-time (0.5 FTE) nurse practitioner hospitalist to join its busy and growing program. The employed position offers a competitive compensation package comprised of base salary and quality incentives, comprehensive benefits, generous allowances for CME and Dues expenses, and relocation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in hospital medicine, internal medicine, or critical care preferred
- Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills
- To qualify you must have a Graduate of NP educational program approved by the State of New York
- Current NP certification from either the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or the American Nurses Credentialing Center
- Bachelors and Masters degrees
- Current New York State license as registered nurse and NP
- Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
Northern Dutchess Hospital (NDH) is a 68-bed acute care not-for-profit community hospital. NDH has an excellent medical staff, exceptional anesthesia, and 24/7 hospitalist coverage. The hospital has recently renovated operating rooms, a brand new, top-rated emergency department, and fully modernized patient care areas. Northern Dutchess is part of Nuvance Health, a sevenhospital system and multi-specialty practice including Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Rhinebeck is part of one of the largest historic districts in the United States located along the scenic Hudson River. Rhinebeck offers New York City culture in a friendly, small town setting.
