Base pay range
$105,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr
As a member of the senior leadership team, the CHRO is responsible for leading the organization’s human resources (HR) functions and a three member HR team that collaboratively fosters a culture of inclusivity to support and optimize employee engagement, satisfaction, capacity, professional growth, and well-being. The CHRO is a dynamic visionary and strategist with high EQ who directly engages – and is a direct contact and resource for – all employees’ HR needs. This person will play a pivotal role in developing policies and practices that meet organizational and employee needs and further strengthen CVHHH’s reputation as an employer of choice. This position oversees management of CVHHH Facilities and serves an integral role on the Incident Command team.

Your Core Responsibilities
- Staff Supervision
- Support and develop the HR team, providing mentorship and coaching to foster learning, growth, and job satisfaction.
- Workplace Culture
- Engage with the senior leadership team and employees at all levels to foster a culture of inclusivity, mutual respect and appreciation.
- Recruitment and Retention
- Develop and implement strategies to engage employees, build and support employee resilience, and promote professional development and well‑being.
- Lead ongoing strategic planning work as it pertains to recruitment, retention, employee education, and development.
- Participate in succession planning efforts, and related development of leaders.
- Total Compensation:
- Conduct competitive market research and establish competitive pay structures.
- Design and implement employee benefits programs to promote health and wellness, align with organizational values, and strengthen recruitment and retention.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Oversee and assist with internal investigations, as necessary, and ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business administration or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
- Five+ years’ human resources management experience, including supervision of 2+ employees in an organization with 50+ employees.
- Health care industry experience preferred.
- SHRM or HCI certification preferred but not required.
