Cloudforce One REACT Principal Consultant
Join Cloudflare as a Principal Consultant within the Cloudforce One threat operations and research team. This role requires a senior-level, self-starting, detail-oriented problem solver with experience in incident response, digital forensics, and threat analysis.

Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer security incidents in on‑premises and cloud environments.
- Detect and disrupt cyber‑threat activity across customer networks and cloud environments.
- Engage with customers at all levels, including Executive, VP, Director, and managerial levels.
- Collaborate with forensic analysts, threat researchers, detection engineers, and malware analysts to investigate incidents.
- Identify TTPs of ongoing threat activity and produce actionable intelligence for Cloudflare’s customer base.
- Document findings, write incident response reports, and communicate executive‑level insights.
- Write simple scripts in Python or Golang to support investigation and automation.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of cybersecurity experience with at least 1 year in Digital Forensics or Incident Response.
- Hands‑on forensic analysis experience in Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
- Experience triaging malware using static or dynamic analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to produce clear incident response reports.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP incident response methodologies is a plus.
Desired Skills
- Proficiency in Python or Golang.
- Experience with Yara rule writing.
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTPS, FTP, etc.).
- Experience with reverse engineering malware and analyzing complex samples.
- Capability to write modular code deployable on remote systems.
Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time. Position may require foreign and domestic travel; a passport is required.
