Family Medicine Physician Job Description ATCA is seeking an accomplished Family Medicine Physician to join its Medical Advisory Board and support the clinical and strategic expansion of a next-generation treatment model for Alzheimer’s disease and cognitive decline. This role is designed for senior family medicine physicians who understand the importance of early detection, longitudinal care, and whole-family context in identifying and managing cognitive health issues. As a Family Medicine Advisor, you will help shape how primary care insights are integrated into ATCA’s AI-driven precision medicine approach. You will work closely with ATCA’s executive leadership, neurologists, geriatricians, psychiatrists, and data science teams to refine screening pathways, strengthen referral models, and ensure that early-stage cognitive concerns are identified and addressed effectively across diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities Include Clinical Strategy & Oversight: Provide expert guidance on primary care–based evaluation, early detection, and management of cognitive decline, dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease. Early Identification & Screening: Advise on best practices for recognizing early cognitive symptoms in primary care settings and integrating screening tools into ATCA’s care pathways. Precision Medicine Integration: Support the incorporation of family history, longitudinal health data, lifestyle factors, and preventive care metrics into individualized treatment decisions within ATCA’s AI platform. Care Coordination & Continuity: Guide the development of referral pathways and communication strategies between primary care, specialty care, and ATCA clinics to ensure seamless patient transitions. Quality & Outcomes Review: Review aggregated, de-identified patient outcomes to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and continuous improvement across clinics. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, technologists, and executive leadership to align primary care insights with specialty treatment and operational scalability. Innovation Support: Provide input on emerging primary care models, preventive strategies, and community-based approaches that may enhance ATCA’s clinical offerings and long-term roadmap.
