A leading Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Mid-Level Associate to join its nationally recognized Corporate practice in the Atlanta office. The firm’s practice is recognized for its work on high-profile transactions, particularly in private equity and private target deals, offering exceptional growth opportunities for its attorneys.

The Role

As a Mid-Level Associate, you will play a key role in managing and executing complex M&A transactions. You’ll be responsible for conducting legal due diligence, preparing purchase agreements, and interacting with clients, investment bankers, and other advisors. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor junior associates while working closely with senior attorneys on challenging and rewarding projects.

This position offers the chance to handle sophisticated legal work in a supportive, team-oriented environment. You’ll gain significant exposure to top-tier clients, grow your technical expertise, and take on increasing responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in M&A and corporate law, with a focus on private equity and private target transactions.
  • Experience managing complex projects, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into clear advice.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
