We’re seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and security of our mission‑critical network infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and secure enterprise‑grade LAN/WAN, data‑center, and cloud/hybrid networks
- Optimise performance and low‑latency connectivity for trading and market‑data systems
- Lead incident response, capacity planning, and major network upgrades
- Implement advanced routing, switching, and firewall policies (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRFs, SD‑WAN)
- Mentor junior engineers and help drive network strategy, standards, and documentation
- Partner with security, infrastructure, and compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years in network engineering, ideally in financial services or other highly regulated environments
- Deep expertise with routing/switching and firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Strong experience with network monitoring, automation (Python/Ansible/Terraform), and high‑availability design
- Proven ability to operate in low‑latency, high‑performance environments
Preferred Skills
- CCNP/CCIE, cloud networking (AWS/Azure), SD‑WAN, and data‑center experience
