BOSTON TRUST WALDEN COMPANY, Falls Church

Save Job

We are seeking a strategic, high-performing Senior Wealth Advisor who is ready to step into a leadership role and, over time, inherit a significant book of business from one of our firm’s partners. This is a rare opportunity with one of key clients in the D.C. Metro area, perfect for an experienced advisor who is looking not just for a job, but for a long-term home, meaningful impact, and a clear path to becoming a Partner within the next few years.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise working with high-net-worth clients, a strong strategic mindset, and the ability to influence firm-wide direction. You must be comfortable rolling up your sleeves in a growing, entrepreneurial environment while also contributing to executive-level decisions.

  • Serve as a primary advisor to high-net-worth individuals and multi-generational families.
  • Manage, retain, and grow an existing client base.
  • Inherit a book of business and build upon it through exceptional service and relationship expansion.
  • Lead strategic initiatives across the firm including process improvements, platform evaluation, and operational efficiencies.
  • Act as a resource for the entire advisory team—coaching junior advisors, guiding best practices, and elevating client service standards.
  • Collaborate with leadership on firm strategy, growth planning, and client experience enhancements.
  • Leverage financial planning and portfolio management tools to deliver sophisticated, customized solutions.

You will bring:

  • 10–15 years of experience in wealth management or financial advisory.
  • Proven success advising high-net-worth clients with strong relationship management skills.
  • CFP® required; Series 66 or 65 preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, investment management, and tax-efficient strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup-minded, fast-moving environment and contribute across all areas of the business.
  • Experience training or mentoring advisors strongly preferred.

What we offer:

  • A clearly defined partner-track pathway.
  • Opportunity to inherit and lead a significant book of business.
  • High visibility and influence within the firm.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial culture where your expertise and leadership will shape the future of our organization.
  • The added strength of a recent strategic merger which provides expanded resources, enhanced support infrastructure, and broader long-term growth opportunities, all while preserving our boutique culture and client-centric approach.
  • Competitive compensation structure with long-term equity potential.
