  • Create, design, and document visions, standards, policies, patterns, architectures, and roadmaps for Network Route/Switch Infrastructure, Network Security (firewall technologies) across all on premise locations and Cloud environments.
  • Architect, design, and lead the implementation of global enterprise-level solutions across diverse areas of network infrastructure. This includes developing scalable and resilient systems that support voice and data communications, user access and authentication, traffic routing and optimization, monitoring and analytics, and integration with business-critical platforms. Solutions are aligned with strategic business objectives and ensure operational efficiency, security, and high availability across the global network.
  • Senior experience working with and integrating to various Cloud providers, i.e…Azure, AWS, IBM, etc…mediums such as Express Route, VPC, Direct Connect, Transit VPC; leveraging SDWAN for agnostic transport mediums.
  • Create detailed LAN/WAN designs specifying physical and logical solution components, inter-system dependencies, and network infrastructure elements
  • Foster extensive enterprise-wide collaboration to exploit our competitive advantage through leadership for IT solutions architecture
  • Integrate application architecture, emerging technologies and develop solutions that help drive complexity reduction
  • Provide input for ongoing capacity and lifecycle management of all network infrastructure components to reduce potential security vulnerabilities and prevent degradation of services
  • Maintain holistic understanding of several technologies and ability to troubleshoot a solution across an entire architecture in a multi-vendor environment with intricate integrations to internal and external dependent systems
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the I.T. architecture stack and global network systems and landscape.
  • Drive hardware and software architecture, and prototype evaluation with a concentration on Global Network LAN/WAN Infrastructure Architecture
  • Transform the organization by leveraging and enabling automation within the corporate infrastructure, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).

  • Writes, tests, and documents technical work products (e.g., code, scripts, processes) according to organizational standards and practices
  • Delivers high quality work and coaches team members on technical craftsmanship
  • Conducts root cause analysis to identify systemic problems and defines and leads execution of action items to address
  • Designs thoughtfully integrated systems that model organizational best practices, allowing disparate teams across product domains to deliver value with speed, scale, and reliability
  • Oversees the management of technical debt in existing systems and drives opportunities to eliminate within ongoing implementations
  • Consistently anticipates scaling, latency, and durability challenges and guides teams in implementation of mitigating strategies
  • Partners with the security organization to incorporate security conscious practices early in the lifecycle of new systems
  • Thoughtfully evaluates technical risks and guides toward practical prevention strategies
  • Consistently works across teams to break down silos and resolve problems collaboratively
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with engineering and product leaders as well as key vendors across span of influence to capitalize on synergies within related organizations
  • Clearly translates technical strategy into implementable componentry within the context of the relevant business area
  • Maintains a focus on removing the duplication of effort across teams and proactively identifies opportunities for reuse within their span of influence
  • Mentors individuals on teams across their span of influence
  • Ensures teams across their span of influence are directionally aligned on the engineering strategy of their product domain and leads cross-team efforts that advance and influence organizational strategy

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Deep technical expertise in network infrastructure, including VoIP/IP telephony, global routing and switching architectures, and cloud integration. Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain complex, enterprise-grade communication and networking solutions across large, geographically distributed environments.
  • Expert-level knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and anycast, with hands‑on experience designing and implementing advanced routing techniques for large-scale, highly available networks.
  • Technical knowledge of SDWAN, MPLS, VXLAN, Cloud networking, and systems interconnectivity
  • Demonstrated expertise in SIP architecture integration with both customized and COTS solutions, coupled with deep experience in VoIP networking and strong technical proficiency in designing and supporting LAN/WAN architectures
  • Demonstrated SIP Architecture integration experience with customized and COTS solutions
  • Willingness to interact with senior management and influence decision makers, embraces ambiguity and enables clarity.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical leaders, translating issues into clear, actionable insights to support informed decision‑making.
  • Skilled in producing comprehensive architecture documentation and detailed design drawings, as well as developing runbooks to support Day 2 operations and ongoing network reliability.
