Azure Architect
Vidorra Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Azure Architect to design, build, and manage secure, scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role involves translating business needs into technical strategies across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, ensuring governance, cost optimization, and leading teams in migration and implementation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to mitigate risks and advance product roadmaps.
- Develop end‑to‑end Azure cloud solutions focusing on reliability, security, performance, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Advise clients on cloud adoption, recommend strategies, build business cases, and map solutions to business goals.
- Guide development teams, lead migrations, conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs), and oversee deployments.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure services (VMs, Storage, Networking, App Services, APIs, Kubernetes) and tools (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks).
- Implement security, compliance, and governance best practices within the cloud environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and IT professionals to ensure smooth transitions and alignment.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and provide IT transformation recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 12+ years of IT industry experience with solid architectural expertise.
- Minimum 7+ years of Azure Architecture experience.
- Strong understanding of Azure services: Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Identity, Data Platforms, Governance.
- Experience with large‑scale Azure implementations, data migrations, and cloud‑native projects.
- Deep analytical, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Strong grasp of SDLC and Agile methodology.
- Organizational proficiency to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment under limited supervision.
- Highly motivated, self‑starting, and committed to achieving results with ownership and follow‑through.
- Business written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Azure from infrastructure and security perspectives.
- Strong bias for action and strategic thinking.
Location: New York, NY – Remote (Hybrid)
Salary: $93,000 – $151,000 (variable) – full‑time, mid‑senior level.
