Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a CFO. This position is a cornerstone of our Accounting and Finance department, and the successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic financial planning and decision making. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's growth trajectory and to take on a leadership role in a fast‑paced, innovative environment. The CFO will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies across all levels of the business.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide leadership, direction, and management to the finance and accounting team.
  2. Oversee the preparation of all financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  3. Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, overseeing the preparation of all fiscal reporting.
  4. Advise on long‑term business and financial planning.
  5. Establish and implement internal controls for compliance with financial regulations and laws.
  6. Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required.
  7. Review all formal finance, HR, and IT related procedures.
  8. Oversee treasury functions including liquidity management, investment, and asset management.
  9. Manage grant reporting, compliance, and reconciliation.
  10. Analyze complex financial data and extract and define relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and / or to project a financial probability.
  11. Communicate effectively and persuasively with investors, board members, and other stakeholders on the company's financial status, strategies, and risks.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
  2. CPA or other relevant qualification is required.
  3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance role, with a proven track record of success.
  4. Extensive experience in financial management and accounting, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  5. Experience managing treasury functions, including liquidity, investment, and asset management.
  6. Experience with grant management and reporting.
  7. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
  8. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  9. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  10. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  11. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results‑orientation.
  12. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
